introduction. education as a pre-determined process to cause new behavioral changes demands a major concern. the authorities are putting a great effort to increase the quality of education, but whether this has been achieved or not, we have tried to seek the opinions. methods. 413 tutors and students from hamadan, kermanshah, booshehr and ahwaz universities, randomly were selected and filled out the pre-determined content validity – questionnaire. the data was analyzed through a descriptive statistic method. results. 65.5% tutors, 87% students evaluated the education quality as “moderate”. 7% students, %27.5 tutors as “good” and 7% of the two groups as “weak”. 72.5% students and 85% tutors believed that the motivations and interests in leaning were “weaker than before” and respectively complained of the following factors: 1) ambiguous job future (53.5% tutors, 50% students), 2)insufficient student selection (57% tutors, 46.6% students), 3)passivity in new generation (40% tutors, 43.5%students), 4)administrative program problems (50% tutors, 50% students) , 5)loss of proper samples in teachers (23.5% tutors, 46.5% students) 6)difficult entrance university exam (16.5% tutors, 40% student) conclusion. in spite of all efforts put forward, an urgent care for a less defected condition in educational aspects of the medical universities seems urgent.
